LSD Studio is a design practice focused on residential interiors. We work at every scale — from full renovations to the acquisition of individual pieces — with an emphasis on craft, material integrity, and spaces that foster connection with oneself, the community, and the environment.
Built in Austin
Based downtown since 2008. We know the high-rises — Seaholm, 360, The Independent, the Austonian — and the HOA approvals, COIs, loading docks and working hours that come with them.

We both trained as architects, so every project starts from plans, sections and the realities of the building — not a mood board.

Liz Swaminathan
Founder & Creative Director
A native Texan, Liz studied Architecture and Interiors at the University of Texas School of Architecture in Austin before building a career in commercial real estate and technology leadership. In 2024, she founded LSD Studio / Gallery, drawing on architectural rigor and an artistic sensibility to shape spaces that feel both deeply personal and inevitable.
Valeria Solano
Design Associate & Gallery Manager
Valeria Solano received her architecture degree from Universidad Tecnológica Centroamericana, and training in product and interior design at Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti in Milan. Her design experience spans residential, commercial, and healthcare projects, pairing technical rigor with a design philosophy centered on storytelling and cultural context.

Discovery & planning
We begin with you, the site, and how you want to live in the space. You leave with a thoughtful project narrative and a realistic scope, budget, and timeline.

Concept & material
Your narrative becomes a spatial concept: layouts, material palettes, and physical samples evaluated in place. We translate the vision into buildable drawings and a working procurement plan.

Sourcing & fabrication
Bespoke joinery, furniture, art and objects, sourced and made to measure. We work with a close circle of trusted workshops and welcome collaboration with your own trades.

Styling & delivery
On-site coordination through to the last detail. We receive, inspect, and oversee white-glove delivery of every piece, then style the space ourselves. A home only settles once it is lived in — so we return after move-in to follow-up and make adjustments.
