What we keep, and why we keep it.

01 · Who we are
LSD Studio LLC ("LSD," "we," "us") is an interior design studio and gallery based in Austin, Texas, operating as LSD Studio (design services) and LSD Gallery, both at 417 W 2nd Street, Austin, TX 78701. This policy covers lsdstudio.com and lsdgallery.com and any inquiry, booking, order, or account you create through either. It does not cover a client's own site, even where we designed it, or third-party platforms we merely link to, like Instagram or Pinterest.
02 · What we collect
It depends on how you reach us. What you give us in a project inquiry: your name, email, phone number, project address, the services you're interested in, your approximate budget and timeline, and whatever you tell us about your project, including any photos, plans, or references you upload. What you give us when you book a consultation: your name, email, phone number, the session you've booked, and your answers to our questionnaire. For in-home consultations, your address. What you give us when you place an order through the gallery: your name, email, shipping and billing address, and order history. For consultation payments and gallery orders, your payment details are collected and processed directly by our payment processor. We never see or store your full card number. And the small amount of technical information any browser sends to any site it visits, such as which pages you opened and roughly which country you're in.
03 · Why we collect it
To answer you, review your project, prepare a proposal, schedule and prepare for your consultation, or fulfill your order. We use your project address only to review your project and confirm it is within our service area. We also use inquiry and order information to coordinate with the makers we work with on consignment and custom pieces. If you've opted in, we'll use your email or phone number to send occasional updates about new work, gallery events, or studio availability. You can opt out at any time, and we never send marketing texts without your separate written consent. Technical information tells us which work people actually stop and look at, which is how we decide what to source, stock, and photograph next. We do not build advertising profiles, and we do not sell your information.
04 · Who else touches it
Our site hosts, our domain and email providers, our online form provider, our booking and scheduling provider, our payment processor, our CRM and marketing platform, and, for gallery orders, our shipping carriers. Each sees only what it needs to do its part, each is bound by its own agreement with us, and none may use your details for its own purposes.
05 · Where it lives
Primarily on servers in the United States, through the providers described in Section 04. Several of those providers run on global cloud infrastructure and may process or back up data in other countries, including Canada, the EU, or Singapore, as part of their standard operations.
06 · How long we keep it
Project inquiries and consultation records, until you ask us in writing to delete them, which we'll do within 45 days, except where we need to keep something for an active project or for legal or accounting reasons. Order and payment records, for as long as our accounting and tax obligations require. Marketing contact information, until you unsubscribe. Technical information, for as long as it's useful to us, and no longer than our analytics provider retains it.
07 · What you can ask for
A copy of everything we hold on you, a correction to it, or its deletion. Ask and we will respond within 45 days, at no cost. Texas residents can also contact the Texas Attorney General's Consumer Protection Division, and California residents the California Privacy Protection Agency, if you believe we've handled this badly.
08 · Cookies
These sites set only the cookies they need to work, plus analytics you can decline. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site trackers. The Cookie Policy explains each one.
09 · Changes
When this policy changes, we update the version and the date at the top of this page. We do not send notifications, so check here if it matters to you.
